The IDM Championship is opened to different categories. Superbike 1000, Supersport 600, Superstock 600, Supersport 300, Sidecar IDM, as well as other cups: Pro Superstock Cup, Pro Superstock Cup, BMW Motorrad Boxercup and the Northern Talent Cup.
The IDM is an historic championship. Indeed, the first edition goes back to 1924.
In addition, although it is a national company some events are held in close countries such as Austria and Czech Republic. Moreover, some international riders participate in the Championship. According to the Championship Manager Normann Broy they expect at least 30 international riders to participate in the Superbike series only.
