The 2021 FIM ENEL MOTO E provisional calendar is online.

The beginning  of the season will be anticipated by two three-day tests in Jerez (SPA). The first one was held on March 2-4th while the next one will be in Jerez on April 12-14th.

That’s the provisional calendar:

  • Round 1: 02 MAY Jerez
  • Round 2: 16 MAY Le Mans
  • Round 3 : 06 JUNE Catalunya
  • Round 4: 27 JUNE Assen
  • Round 5: 15 AUGUST Red Bull Ring
  • Round 6: 18 SEPTEMBER San Marino
  • Round 7: 19 SEPTEMBER San Marino

The Moto E World Cup is a recent phenomenon: it was indeed established two years ago in 2019. It is also characterized by being a cup reserved to electric motorbikes. In the first edition there were 4 events and 6 races. The first world cup championship was the Italian Matteo Ferrari while last year Jordi Torres won.

During the first three-day test held in Spain the one who stood out the most was Eric Granado (One Energy Racing Team) together with Dominique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP). The leading duo did dominate all the other riders, even Matteo Ferrari who ended up third in the final table.

What this test did point out though is that we can expect a huge show from this edition.
